Several pastors and leaders from the Foursquare movement came together to talk about young leaders across Europe. We would like to share with you what God put on our hearts during this time. Each of us have built relationship with young men and women in Europe through summer camps and local church connections. We recognize the divine relationship that we have with these leaders and it is our desire to come alongside them as they walk into the fullness of their ministry calling. Some believe they are to plant churches, some to minister in their local congregations, some to focus in the marketplace and some that are unsure of what God is asking them to do.
We would like to invite these young leaders and others like them to the Roundabout meetings, where they can initiate and build strong relationships with each other and seek the Lord together. The meetings happen twice a year and last for 3 days.
Our vision is to encourage the building of relationships & friendships between young leaders from different contexts and to equip them with courage and faith to step into their ministry calling. The name that we have chosen to represent this is “Roundabout”. If you can imagine a spiritual roundabout, we see this as a place where leaders come in from different directions, are encouraged and built up and then are sent out again, back to their communities and churches. As you can see, our main objective is to help build courage and faith in these leaders, not a training program or agenda. We simply want to come alongside and encourage young leaders in the process in their local congregations, to ask questions, pray together and to support the local churches in whatever way we can.
